Dr. Iva Gurkova graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2024 with exceptional academic standing and a strong international profile. An alumna of the Victor Hugo French Lyceum in Sofia, she is a native-level French speaker, holds a C1 certification in English (Cambridge Advanced), and is proficient in Spanish (B1). Throughout her medical education, she attended numerous prestigious international programs, including the Cadaver Master Class at the Medical University of Nice (2019), AMWC Monaco (2021 & 2023), the IMCAS Congress in Paris (2022), and the Vivacy Masterclass with Dr. Benjamin Ascher in Paris (2022). In July 2025, she will begin her residency in Dermatology and Venereology at the "Aleksandrovska" University Hospital. Alongside her medical training, she has extensive professional experience (since 2020) at Innoderm Medical Ltd., working with brands such as Forlle'd Japan, Laboratoires Vivacy, and Innoaesthetics Barcelona. She is also a certified yoga instructor from the Everest Yoga Institute, with a specialization in anatomy and physiology. Dr. Gurkova combines clinical expertise with precise aesthetics, advocating for modern dermatology based on the balance between medical knowledge, natural results, and a personalized approach.
