Dr. Alyona Gurkova, affectionately known by her patients as Dr. Alya, is a physician and pharmacist and a passionate follower of the "soft anti-aging" philosophy. Believing that "the dose makes the poison," her guiding motto is "Less is more." She earned her medical degree from the Medical University of Sofia and spent extensive time studying and practicing in France. Dr. Alya is professionally driven by the integration of nanotechnology within the beauty industry. Given her dual expertise in medicine and pharmacy, she serves as an international trainer for the Japanese anti-aging brand Forlle'd. She has dedicated her career to discovering the formula for health, beauty, and longevity through a holistic approach. She is actively involved in the fields of anti-aging and longevity; she earned a qualification in therapeutic nutrition from Université Paris Cité, further expanding her expertise in preventive medicine and global anti-aging. Currently, she is a dermatology resident and is pursuing a PhD focused on the "Pathophysiological Mechanisms of Aging" at the Medical University of Sofia. She holds a University Diploma (DU) in Anti-Aging from Université Côte d'Azur – Nice, mentored by Dr. Cécile Winter, and authors the "Aesthetics with Dr. Alya" column for the French edition of Elle magazine.
